[edit] Am I doing this right?

I just signed-up. I run Piping Design Central, which is an information site. Am I doing this right?

Edit: Most of my discussion list members are on email. Is it easy for them to contribute? I assume that I'm more web-savvy than most of them are. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pipingguy (talkcontribs) July 2, 2004 (UTC)

You did fine except for signing your name and for putting a subject on your comment (which I did for you). Next time, click on the +Tab at the top of this Discussion page or the Edit page. That will bring up a comment form with a space at the top for entering the subject of your comment (Capitalize only the first letter of the first word ... nothing else). Then write your question or comment or response. And always, always sign your name ... which is done by simply writing four tildes like this: ~~~~. That will automatically sign your name and list the date and time as well. Welcome! - mbeychok 02:22, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pipe stress analysis checklist

Please help me to find a comprehensive pipe stress analysis checklist.

Thanks —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Farhad.ss (talkcontribs) 04:10, 13 May 2007 (UTC).

Your question would be better addressed at a place like the Coade discussion forum or the Engineering Tips Piping and Fluid Mechanics discussion. Ultimate ed 20:49, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] piping in pop culture seemingly unrelated to topic

the pop culture reference to piping does not really contribute to the encyclopedic nature on this page, and I think it might actually be a slander to a person, whoever paige leonard is. the section should be evaluated for removal. Littlewing0906 (talk) 00:19, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

It will depend on the direction of the flow of the liquid. but there are spring check valves MFR'D which could be used in both directions of flow.Joe sunbelt. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Joe sunbelt (talkcontribs) 15:49, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

Only Swing type check valve can't be in vertical position. So you can use waffer check valve for vertical positions.
