Untitled[edit]

In Estonia, folk-tales about his cruelty and posthumous sightings of his cruel spirit are still quite popular, although I can't say if there is any historical basis for that image at all. (I'll try to find some references about the stories.) His grave monument, an outstanding piece of local renaissance art by Arent Passer (1589-95), can still be seen in the Cathedral of St. Mary the Virgin in Tallinn.
