Allahabad Junction railway station → Allahabad railway station

  • Someone asked for this move as uncontroversial, and then someone queried it as quoted here: Anthony Appleyard (talk) 17:19, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
  • "Hi there, Noticed your move on Allahabad Junction railway station to Allahabad railway station. I would like to point out that i believe such a move is a mistake as both the Indian Railways website & the images of the Platformboard & stationboard show Allahabad Junction. Hence the page must be maintained as Allahabad Junction railway station.

  • Oppose per Superfast1111's rationale—what Indian Railways itself calls the station should be the determining factor. Note also that the station is labeled Allahabad Junction on both Google Maps and the Open Street Map. Deor (talk) 01:19, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
    That is exactly what i was saying. The article should be Allahabad Junction railway station. You say oppose - then say the same thing i said. What is that about?? Superfast1111 (talk) 03:18, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
    This is a request that the article be moved to "Allahabad railway station" (see the box at the top of the thread). I'm opposing that request. Deor (talk) 14:03, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
