When determining the length and alignment of this route, note that the entire route is described over a few different sections in the PEI Roads Act:

the portion from Southport (Stratford) to Pisquid is listed under Schedule B-1 (COLLECTOR HIGHWAYS) s1(14)
the paved portion from Pisquid to Fanning Brook is listed under Schedule C-2 (LOCAL (CLASS 2) HIGHWAYS) s1(3.1)
the unpaved portion from Pisquid to Fanning Brook is listed under Schedule C-3 (LOCAL (CLASS 3) HIGHWAYS) s1(2)
