Story[edit]

About the storyline of the game. I have my own opinion but I'd like some other versions before settling for an "official" version. Ok. Here in the article, it is mentioned that the princess is in fact Zahra, which is in fact the narrator. I strongly disagree. I'm at my third walkthrough of the game and still I never heard any reference of that being. The way I saw the story, was that the kingdom was built by gods and genies, then genies and men inhabited it. Afterwards came the Haoma plant, that decimated everyone but a lone genie (zahra) the princess and the king. the genie went out to seek help, and came back with the prince. At the end of the game, the prince grants his "power over death" to the princess just before she falls (she becomes blue, like when zahra kisses the prince) and then she falls to her death (she cannot die because of the respawn power) so in fact, my logical conclusion is that the princess is waiting for the prince to come back for her. What happens with zahra? she sacrifices herself for the prince to bring him back from the mental realm (I thought of it more as a death realm or something) Well, since I don't want to start an edit war, are there some other interpretations of the story out there? Thanks! Bratgoul (talk) 22:53, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

I think this article should be placed back into the main Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands article. Each of the 4 Forgotten Sands games should have its own section within that article, since each one has its own plot and gameplay. Any thoughts? Well gameplay and plot are different so for me, it was a good idea to separate each game. However, this means a PSP and a DS page should be created as well. I know they have the same name, but I think we should work in favour of this diversity of contents instead of having one huge page with everything in it. That's going to help us put more detail for every game. Bratgoul (talk) 17:55, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's not about whether or not they have the same title, Byakuya; nor is it about them being different games despite having the same title, Bratgoul. What it is about is whether we have enough content on each version of the game to warrant its own article. This article is currently under heavy construction by me (although it's admittedly going pretty slow), and trust me when I say we have a substantial amount of information to warrant a separate article. I'm looking into this for the DS and PSP versions, but if we don't have enough information for those, they don't warrant an article, just a section (there's almost no promotion or development information on them, and few publications reviewed them, while the Quebec and Montreal games had plenty of developer diaries released documenting development, a few good promotion items, plenty of reviews, and other random information). Bottom line, at its peak, this article will definitely warrant itself and stand on its own feet; it's got a great start, and I'm still working on expansion. It's not about subject matter, it's about how much information you can dig up (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has its own standalone article just for criticisms of that game. Criticisms.). And here, we've got plenty, as this article is already bigger than the articles for the original three games, plus Warrior Within and The Two Thrones. With that, count this discussion closed; I don't think there's any question of this article's ability to stand on its own feet. The Guy (edits) 00:57, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You are not an administrator or of a member of any usergroup higher than normal users for that matter, so you have no right to label a discussion as closed. It's a pretty good way to get complaints of WP:OWN. Dfsghjkgfhdg (talk) 21:29, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
