A New Zealand civilian[edit]

If a movie is set in NZ, why are we going to such trouble to point out that people who live in New Zealand are typically from New Zealand?
Why don't you point out the foreign characters, and leave the Kiwis alone?

Soviet Viewers?[edit]

The last sentence under "Production" says: "The film is one of the leaders of the Soviet film distribution in 1983. In the year it looked 29.0 million Soviet viewers." Ignoring the bad grammar, how is this significant? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.43.12.61 (talk) 07:09, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

On a tangent it even seems to have warranted a 70mm release in the USSR. Sadly the English-speaking internet has very little about box office grosses in the Soviet Union. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 14:37, 5 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
