Raut[edit]

Remove raut from this page because it is different caste and does not relate to rawat. Don't you find difference in their spelling and pronunciations. Raut is considered a low class. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.243.197.9 (talk) 15:34, 8 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi..i am here after keeping a tab on ur activiy on Kurmi and yadav article.I would like to tell u from my knowledge of indian caste system that the title donot signify association with particular caste as u are asserting. For example singh is now used by many caste from top as well as low strata of caste hierarchy .similarly Rawat title itself is used by many other communities. For example in kurmi article the Dekha rawat about whom u are talking and others were using the same title coz they were associated as soldiers with ujjainiya rajputs and it was common for people of Agricultural caste to claim martial status when they engaged themselves in martial pursuits. This info is from source used there on Kurmi article.Heba Aisha (talk) 16:53, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

RawatRawat_(disambiguation) – Because it comes under multiple choice. ... TheManishPanwar (talk) 11:44, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

TheManishPanwar – per WP:DABNAME, "The title of a disambiguation page is the ambiguous term itself, provided there is no primary topic for that term." Therefore, this page is properly named, and I'm removing your request. Please get familiar first with our naming policies and customs (specifically Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines), I had to reformat this page extensively.
