To be implemented

[edit]

I removed the following headlines to empty paragraphs: Finances (to be implemented) Social and health policies (to be implemented) Education (to be implemented) Culture and Leisure (to be implemented) Please add the headlines as you add the paragraphs, or declare your intention to write them here on the talk page, as opposed to adding in the main article that they will be written some time in the future. That being said, I look forward to reading the article as they are added. Peace Warchef (talk) 14:50, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Terrible article

[edit]

If it can even be called like that. Looks more like a leftist propaganda. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.94.184.50 (talk) 02:02, 24 May 2016 (UTC) Leftist agitprop is all this crap is. Typical of what's wrong with wikipedia's allowing amateurs and not very bright college students to write articles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.8.130.156 (talk) 23:10, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Concern regarding this article

[edit]

Considering the broad degree of political phenomenon that were ongoing in 1920s and 1930s Austria, this article comes up rather short in terms of the criticism that was levied toward the socialist administration in Vienna by its "rural" counterparts, and the tone of the single quotation that makes reference to Austria's political divide (or Motiv) appears to be lacking in descriptive neutrality. This, along with some other questionable word choices in other sections of the article, may give readers the impression that the article as a whole is a biased glorification of Rotes Wien. The lack of substantive information on the Vienna city government's demise after the Vaterländische Front takeover in 1934 also leaves something to be desired, since it has rendered the subject in question isolated from important context about the period in which Rotes Wien existed. Expansion of article

[edit]

Hello! Tonight, I will be updating this article with a substantial amount of new information. A substantial pitfall I had noticed with this article was the lack of citations outside of some isolated quotations and other information scattered throughout. Consequently, most of my work has focused on making sure all of this information has a citation tied to it! Additionally, where wording appeared it could potentially be improved, I have tried to help improve the relevant statements without corrupting the meaning. I am relatively new to the citation system, so my sincere apologies if I have erroneously made it difficult to locate the specific pages in which the cited source material are located. They can all be found in their unconverted form next to each respective claim here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Alpenschatz/Red_Vienna Thank you for any support or constructive feedback you might be able to give me ahead of time regarding my work!
