Pashupati Rai is an ex-MLA from Dildarnagar belonging to this village. There is a Non government organization running named as Vishva Santi Joyti Sanstha, Reotipur, Ghazipur. It is working for the old age home and public library. Its founder is Sri Manindra Nath Lal, retired Physics Lecturer at Nehru Vidyapeeth Inter College, Reotipur, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. There are many other famous personalities related to this village e.g. Late Bihari Rai, Shri Bharat Rai(Patti : Ban Rai), Late Dr. Vansh Narayan Rai (B.D.S,Calcutta)(Patti: Bahurik Rai), Shri Raj Kishor Pandey(Patti: Dev Narayan Pandey), Late Kalika Rai, Uday Rai(Chachau)(Patti: Dayaram), The great wrestler Late Rajnarayar Rai who defeated Imam Bax in wrestling championship, Late Shiv Kumar Rai(TT), Ashok Kumar Rai (Patti:Bhagwat Rai ), Late Hrishikesh Tiwari(Principal of Shri Vanktesh Sanskrit Vidhyalaya), Late Rajnarayan Rai, Mr. Sachidanand Rai, Mr.Vinod Kumar Rai(Contractor Ghazipur).
