It's also known to the locals as "The burst eyeball" and "the giant quim". On seeing it recently, a relative of mine from Canada was prompted to mention the city which boasts the world's largest beaver.Jscb (talk) 10:59, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Other nicknames[edit]

It's also referred to as 'The Cornish Pasty', and less pleasantly, 'The Ruptured Scrotum'. It sounds like a toilet flushing when it's in action.

I am sure I read somewhere that the design has nothing to do with Percy Shelly, and the fountain was originally designed for the town of Cambridge, but it ended up in Horsham. Pikko-Pie (talk) 14:34, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Council[edit]

Can someone add in who was on the local council at the time that the sculpture went in.
