What are "WSB agents"?Jamesedwardsmith 14:43, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good question. A possible spoiler? -ScrubsFan16

The "World Security Bureau." It's the agency Robert Scorpio has worked for off and on for the past thirty years or so.

Undoing my own edit[edit]

I'm not sure what I did regarding an edit under Robin's siblings. I was attempting to remove Robert Justin Scorpio as her brother and I put that he did not exist. Instead, I somehow added Holly Scorpio as her stepmother and my reason came up saying SHE didn't exist. LOL! Then I realized someone has already removed the fake brother from her page before I did. More idiocy from the writers at GH[edit]

Why is it no one, ANYWHERE, is discussing that apparently Robin is going to hold the world record for having a baby in-utero? Since when did mothers keep babies in side of them for 310 days+? That's a full 44 days more than normal. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sardonicone (talkcontribs) 13:57, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

HORRIBLE ENGLISH![edit]

PLEASE, someone, please edit the article (particularly the "storylines" section) to repair the horrible English grammar and syntax. It is nearly unreadable in parts. 99.21.169.221 (talk) 02:38, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

NOT HER NAME!!!!!![edit]

her name is robin scorpio, with no drake. Emma's name is hyphenated, not hers!!!!!!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Caringtype1 (talkcontribs) 15:45, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Single source tag[edit]

I'm going to remove the "relies on single source" tag on the article as many other sources have been added since Oct 2011. Thanks! Kelly Marie 0812 (talk) 18:34, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

thank you.-- The Red Pen of Doom 18:38, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Storyline cleanup[edit]

I'm going to work on the storyline sections so that the excessively long detail tag can eventually be removed. I'd like to separate 1985-92 and 1993-99. I think the earlier years could use some examples of the major arcs she was involved in, and the 90s are pivotal on their own with the HIV storyline. I hope to find sources that show the cultural impact. I think this character has the ability to have a GA article due to her cultural impact. Guest appearance on All My Children[edit]

Robin made a guest apperance on All My Chidlren, it does not mean that she was a cast member, if she was a cast member you add AMC but she was not. Guest apperance do not count and we have done this for years and everyone knows that we don't a series thats she only did as a guest stint. It should be remove. I stop my reverting. Until enough people convinces me that it should be added this would be resolved, but 2 is not enough.  — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 15:44, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't matter if it was a guest appearance, or not. It doesn't if it were three episodes or three hundred episodes. She appeared on All My Children as that character, meaning she is an All My Children character. End of story. This is the way it has always been done. Absolutely no reason to change it now.Caringtype1 (talk) 15:54, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

We have done that for years, when it a guest appreance, we do not add the series. It was always like that.  — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 15:57, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Umm, no, we haven't done that for years. This page only removed it with an edit on the 11th of this month, and what about this page, this page, this page, and this page? It has always been understood that when a character crosses over to another series, regardless of for how long, we add that series to the infobox. That's the way it's been done, and that's how it will stay.Caringtype1 (talk) 16:07, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You know what, I wont argue with you anymore. I simly don't like arguing, we need more users until this will be considered is resolved. However, I still disagree.  — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 16:09, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with SoapFan12. The character made a few brief guest appearances on All My Children, but she is primarily a General Hospital character. Same thing with Christine Blair, she made a few guest appearances on The Bold and the Beautiful, but she is most notable as a character on The Young and the Restless, therefore only Y&R is listed in her infobox. Caringtype1, to my knowledge, there was never a discussion or anything agreeing that we just list all the series the character appeared on (regardless of how long), people just did it that way. I suggest we talk about just listing the series the character is most notable for appearing on, which in this case is General Hospital. Please post comments and/or opinions below. Regards, Creativity97 18:15, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I think since it is the infobox, it is important to include all appearances. In the infobox we say the character appeared until 2001, which is misleading since all her 2001 appearances were on a different series, one not mentioned anywhere in the infobox. She also made a guest appearance on "Port Charles", and we include that in the infobox. Why does that "count" and All My Children "not count"? We explain in the article how she is mainly a General Hospital character but made a guest appearance on the other series, and not having the infobox reflect that is misleading and wrong.Caringtype1 (talk) 19:15, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Just add AMC in the spin-off apperences in the infobox but not in the blue print part. Since, that part is for the primairly been on GH.  — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 19:20, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think that is the solution since All My Children is not a spinoff of General Hospital. But perhaps adding a new "crossovers" parameter to the infobox is something to bring up at Wp:SoapsCaringtype1 (talk) 19:33, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with that. I think you should bring it up at WP:SOAPS.  — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 19:49, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Are we forgetting Robin's reunion with her mother occurred on AMC, so let me get this straight crossover characters don't count as characters of the soap they crossed over into, even if it was for like 1-5 episodes, and they are credited for those episodes? That absolutely makes no sense at all. Jester66 (talk) 20:17, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The only problem is that it could also be misleading to add All My Children to her infobox when she wasn't even a cast member there; she was a guest star for a few episodes. However, that is my personal opinion. I do think that perhaps adding a "crossover" parameter would be good idea, so at least it is mentioned somewhere in the infobox. It should be brought up at WP:SOAPS. Creativity97 20:59, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Never an All My Children character (recurring or contract). If we were to add guest appearances, does this mean Port Charles and Night Shift should be added too? Otherwise it's a contradiction. Look at Michael Baldwin for another example of how we don't include guest crossovers in info-boxes. The storyline is irrelevant, whether or not Robin reunited with her mother. I agree with Creativity and SoapFan; just because there was never a discussion about something doesn't mean it should remain as is because one user thinks so. Arre 03:46, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have added a new discussion at WP:SOAPS, about adding ″crossover″ parameter to info-boxes. Anyone is welcome to give their opinions.  — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 04:08, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Port Charles and Night Shift are spinoffs of GH, AMC isn't. Okay if you don't believe the characters' who crossover aren't also characters of the soap they crossed into, then it should also count for comic book, movies, and primetime characters and why don't you let the writers and actors know, since the crossed over show is on the actors' resumes Jester66 (talk) 06:53, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't matter if it's a spin off or not, it's still another show; and if you believe that she was a character on AMC and it should be in the series parameter, then Port Charles and Night Shift should be too, otherwise that's basically a contradiction... Arre 11:49, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
There is a separate parameter for spinoffs, so there isn't a need to put them in "series", unlike the need to put All My Children there. Adding a 'crossover' parameter would end such need.Caringtype1 (talk) 20:00, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Comings and goings[edit]

Is it necessary to have the dates of every time Kim Mc comes and goes? I'm all for reporting the main times she's been on the show, but for perios like 2013-2017 I would think "The character has made several appearances during this time frame" is enough. Seems like overkill. 2601:241:8102:221C:8199:1F3E:1E39:A7FC (talk) 23:18, 10 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
