Untitled[edit]

I have edited this page recently, due to what I would perceive as bias towards the monotheistic faiths (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) when the page should allow for more integration of other religious and philosophical ideas on the nature of "evil's root." More popular culture references could also fit into this article as well. So, please, make any additions or changes necessary. Ode2joy 01:50, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the section with examples because it was unreferenced, contained weasel words and is offensive- and I don't think it added anything to this page in its present form.Borisblue (talk) 03:29, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You know, when reading this article, I kinda found it funny the way it puts "this phrase may signify" followed by a list that includes all works named "root of all evil". So, the phrase said by Jesus himself (and whoever repeated it later) meant the root of all evil is a show, a song, or an album? My point is, that whole part should be rewritten in a better way. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.20.132.190 (talk) 23:44, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The entry says that "the root of all evil" is a mistranslation and "the root of all kinds of evil" is correct? It'd be nice if there was some way to verify this...
