Merge proposal[edit]

The new article Roundness (geology) has recently been created as a translation from the Russian wiki page. The subject overlaps essentially 100% the content of this page - same topic. However, since rounding also occurs in fault gouge and intrusive/diatreme breccias perhaps the merge sjould go the other way(??). Prior to doing the work needed to cleanup Roundness (geology) the two should be merged. Vsmith (talk) 14:06, 25 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support merge - and merge according to Vsmith. Also I am suspending work on the translated article to allow the merge to happen. Also, since this is very much out of my area of expertise I have no problem with Vsmith taking over and creating the finished product. --- Steve Quinn (talk)
  • Support merge in some sense. My initial gut reaction would be to put it all in the "(sediment)" article, but per Vsmith, it might be useful to put everything to "(geology)" and redirect the "(sediment)" article to the appropriate section there. But I defer the final decision to Steve, who is doing the hard work :) Awickert (talk) 00:06, 28 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
