Conflict of interest[edit]

There is one main contibutor to this article, and there may be a conflict of interest at work. An expert opinion would be of much use. LeaHazel : talk : contribs 13:53, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, tone of article sounds very much like a self-contribution. Ham Pastrami (talk) 17:30, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

memories[edit]

It's good to find a Wikipedia article (finally) for Dr Sammy Lee. I do remember how in the early 80's, I used to see him sauntering around the UCL grounds in deep thought. His mind constantly aroused by innovations and ideas for the future of IVF. I do also remember how BK helped Lee with his project and thesis, and there would always be a good game of chess going on in the after hours. 81.154.176.144 20:51, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WPMED assessment[edit]

It's reasonable to believe that Sammy Lee is important to his subspecialty. However, in terms of his impact on worldwide medicine, it's pretty much the same as any other individual, which is to say "low." It's impossible to justify a rating that names Sammy Lee as being equal in importance to the World Health Organization or the National Institutes of Health. It might be barely possible to justify a rating of Mid, but I think Sammy Lee's relationship to the goals of the WPMED project is best described as "only included to cover a specific part of a notable article" -- which is the criteria for a "low" importance rating. I encourage you to look at the examples on the actual scale before changing this. WhatamIdoing (talk) 21:09, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
