Can this page be salvaged into a real encyclopedia article?[edit]

This needs a lot of attention. A while back, an anonymous used added the tags {{inappropriate tone}} and {{unreferenced}} to this article. Evrik reverted these, but I think the tags were completely right - there are no references, and the tone is not right. Is there enough to say about this topic that it deserves an article of its own? The references to the Board of Review are specific to the Boy Scouts of America, so should probably be removed. If the story of the London fog is left in the article, it should preferably be summarised to about a quarter of its current length, and it needs a proper citation. The concept of Scout Spirit...[edit]

...is not worldwide. It appears to be an American thing. America is not the world people, how many times do we have to repeat this. I'm an ex scout from Holland, "scout spirit" was and is not a thing there, nor is it in many other European countries. 79.19.114.74 (talk) 19:43, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
