wait for deletion, i'm writing more!--GurDass (talk) 14:04, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

almost done, can you explain what is the problem and what can i do to correct or emprove the article? thanks --GurDass (talk) 15:31, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article does not contain an assertion that the subject is notable. See WP:BIO. --Evb-wiki (talk) 16:41, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

relevant biography because is one of the 5-6 masters of Surat Shabd Yoga in all over the world --GurDass (talk) 15:35, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a reliable source for that claim, it needs to be in the article. See WP:ATT and WP:BLP. --Evb-wiki (talk) 16:41, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have declined the speedy delete tag as it seems to me the subject of the article meets the minimum notability criteria. However, it is need of considerable clean-up, not the least of which is that it should be moved to "Sirio Carrapa" unless I have missed something. It is not out of the question that it remains a possible candidate for deletion. In the meantime hats off to you both for raising the issue and responding to it. the first book that I mention in the bibliography section is about the life of this person. The fact that Sirio Carrapa was the italian representative (the only one of course) of Ajaib Singh during his life is shown in the notes that I link... the two copies of "Sant Bani Magazine" were printed indipendently in U.S. by the American representative of Ajaib Singh and are free to download. In internet there is free for download the entire collection of this magazine and in lots of numbers it is written that Sirio Carrapa was the italian representative. About the actual number of Gurus of Sant Mat you can see also in the Contemporary_Sant_Mat_movement that this Path has a very limited number of Gurus. I want only to add the fact that there is one more, Sirio Carrapa. The Sant Bani Ashram of Ribolla (Italy) is his property and he is the actual Guru in that place. There is an independent site (but in italian) about the religions in Italy that talks about him and i halso linked in notes: this one. This is the italian "Center for Studies on New Religions" and is almost relevant. If i dit'nt understood you, please excuse me and explain what kind of sources i must provide... sorry --GurDass (talk) 18:01, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

p.s. i've seen the changes that you have made... thanks for the help, it's not easy... i'm studying the pages that you linked ;-) --GurDass (talk) 18:11, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

it is incredible that somebody from Calgary (strange, there is a group of disciples of Ladhu Ram in that place) is trying continuously to modify this page removing the things that he doesn't like.... bah. IP is logged and everything is visible... Many thanks to the administrators of wikipedia for undoing this vandalism--GurDass (talk) 07:48, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I just removed Cleanup date=August 2008, i hope to did right. The page received a lot of cleanup from 2008 to today. If I did something not correct please forgive me and put it again! --GurDass (talk) 11:47, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Why does a biogrpahy of a person appear on community pages as landmark?[edit]

Hi, can anyone please help, why an article, that is a biography, appears on community pages as a landmark? I find it quite annoying. I tried to make a minor edit, believing it may be the cause - but no change. Maybe is it a bug in the social network system? Thanks! D0rk4.r0l4nd (talk) 23:59, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral Point of View?[edit]

GurDass, the originator and an editor of this article, is a disciple of Sirio Carrapa, the subject of this article. It would not be realistic to expect him to use a neutral point of view in writing or editing.Oliver Puertogallera (talk) 06:50, 2 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
