- Yes actually. If you check the old Bethesda press site(dated March 2000)it mentions the game was up for pre-order [1]. I'm guessing a limited number of copies were made. The game's release date was April 2000 Here is the interview mentioning this[2] (page 3)

- Regarding the simracingnews interview − I can’t tell how long before April 2000 it was made, but however long, the game could have been cancelled in between I guess?
- The press site is more convincing, but then it’s a primary source so not sure how that holds to en.wp’s policies
- I am not much of an en.wp editor myself, and I have no particular interest either way ; so I’ll leave it at that.
