School Years (& ages)[edit]

At St Cuths the New Entrant's (NEs) are generally four years old (and you're right - rather than attending for a full year they usually start in terms two or three). Five year olds are in Year One (some skip NE and start new in Y1 as a five year old). CarlyPalmer 05:30, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That seems quite odd, but I guess perhaps that's what makes an "independent" school truly independent. So you'd expect that St Cuth's leavers would generally be 6 months younger than a normal school? --Limegreen 06:21, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I guess it depends on when your birthday is - in our year there was 1.5 years variance in ages CarlyPalmer 07:13, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
