Sta. Lucia East Grand MallSta. Lucia MallWP:CONCISE and WP:COMMONNAME. — BarrelProof (talk) 16:40, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It seems that there is a shift to "Sta. Lucia Mall". The longer name was used in references from 2016 (this interestingly used the shorter name in the headline, presumably to save space), 2017, 2019, 2020 and 2021, but there are instances of it being directly referred to in the shorter name as early as 2015, 2018, 2019, etc. Verdict: Usage seems split, with the longer name leading around 60:40, but the shorter name catching up. Try again next year? Howard the Duck (talk) 19:05, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
FWIW, I suggest having a look at the mall's current logo: File:Sta. Lucia Mall Logo.jpg. Split usage could be an argument for the more WP:CONCISE variant, especially if the trend seems to be in that direction. — BarrelProof (talk) 20:08, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
WP:OFFICIAL -- we don't necessarily follow official usage, especially if the old name has became so entrenched. See also the RM dramas involving the Czech Republic (or Czechia). Howard the Duck (talk) 20:33, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Of course, but if the mall owners themselves are not pushing the longer name, it might indicate that other new and recent sources are less likely to bother with the longer name either. — BarrelProof (talk) 01:24, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
