Untitled[edit]

I've removed the section on the drug problems: It was tacked on without a heading, and was colloquial. For example, when was "three years back"? Please provide dates. I'm not disputing whether there is a drug problem or not. However the section was more op-ed than encyclopedia.

Natural Gas?[edit]

I've heard that there is a significant deposit of natural gas in the Sussex area. Does anyone know enough to make an entry about it? 142.167.65.250 18:14, 18 December 2006 (UTC)DS[reply]

There is approximately 1 trillion cubic yards in the McCully field (from memory). I will do some more research on the topic. JKeirstead 03:48, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Princess Louise Park Show Centre[edit]

The section here on Princess Louise Park Show Centre is out of control. I trimmed a little of the most inappropriate content, which was far too promotional in tone (a lot of "Come see us!" complete with exclamation points) - but a lot of this content just doesn't belong here. I don't know if it merits its own page, but a page about Sussex does not need more than a paragraph or so about one facility within Sussex. Details about who may rent the barns, and the detailed benefits of becoming a member of a group which happens to use this facility, are getting way WAY off topic. I'm hiding the content for now, and will put an editorial notice in the text as well. If the content should just be removed, please do so (or spin it off into its own article). Thanks. I've moved it here but it's too large even for the talk page. Look for it in the history here. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 05:41, 14 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Updates[edit]

I will me making the following changes to the article

-The balloon fiesta see's between 50,000 to 80,000 people now instead of the 35,000 the article says

-Added an update to the history section about how prior to its incorporation, Sussex was known as Sussex Vale from 1810 – 1898 and was a farming community of 185 people. This grew to include the surrounding area of Lower Sussex, which hosted another 25 people.

-Adding information about the mural tour, as well. Abusson (talk) 23:27, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hmfgfstu (talk) 15:48, 19 February 2024 (UTC) Adding information about Ellen's Tour de Sussex.[reply]

Hmfgfstu (talk) 16:17, 19 February 2024 (UTC) In the section about Poley Mountain, it mentions that the ski hill is located in the Caledonia Mountains. This is confusing because the Caledonia Mountain is located in the Canadian Rockies. The original editor must've meant the Caledonia Highlands.[reply]

Kingswood University[edit]

Hmfgfstu (talk) 18:57, 19 February 2024 (UTC) Going to move the information about Kingswood University from the History section to the Education Section.[reply]

Agricultural Museum of NB[edit]

Hmfgfstu (talk) 18:56, 19 February 2024 (UTC) I noticed that there wasn't any information about the museum of the page. I'm going to add a new section for this.[reply]
