Holders of Information[edit]
could something be added to this article about how important the job was that these young boys had? they were the holders of important information and they had to be trusted to ensure that information reached it's intended recipient. many of these young boys were perhaps not the type of character that you would want to trust with important information, but they were. there were boys who took advantage of the title of "telegraph boy" to steal money and jewels by using the blue messenger uniform as a means to gain entrance to previously restricted environments (from Telegraph Messenger Boys by Gregory J.
