Carl's Crush

I added the fact that Carl loves Judy Neutron in Carls bio., along with examples of his affection.

Cindy's Crush Contradiction

In Cindy's bio, it says that her crush on Timmy is "contradicting his marriage to Tootie in Channel Chasers."
I have removed it for two reasons:

1) The ending is ambigous as to whether Timmy married either Tooty or Trixie.
2) It is irrelevant, as she doesn't actually marry him, since Timmy returns to his dimension, while she stays in hers.

Professor Finbarr Calamitous

End of the series?

I'd just like to know on what authority this page has it that the series is ending with the third Jimmy/Timmy Power Hour, and likewise on what authority is Fairly OddParents supposed to be closing shop after that one? Not only do both statements seem extremely sketchy, but I pretty sure FOP has a feature film coming up that will open after JTPH 3. Corbmboile

On The Fairly Oddparents wiki entry, it states that Butch Hartman, creator of the show, announced on his offical website forum, that both shows would be ending after JT3

Retroville, Texas?

How can we prove that Retroville is in Texas. As far as I'm concerned, I haven't seen an episode revealing the state of where Retroville is. The Runescape Junkie 00:00, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

Any objections?

As I was reading the article, I noted that there is a list of inventions in the character discription of Jimmy Neutron. I have decided to move all these inventions to a page that will catalog all his inventions. I will be removing that list from the jimmy Neutron character discription(do not remove it yet). lost episode

I recall flipping channels and catching the end of a JN episode, maybe during a holiday. It featured a creature, maybe 1/2 the size of Jimmy,(although I think, in the plot, that they tried to appear larger) lizard-like with a hored brow, like a hored toad, wearing a jacket/vest, maybe purple. They had arms but instead of legs they had a snake like tail that they slithered on. Except for the audience in "Win Lose Kaboom" I never seen them again. What is Jimmy Neutron's IQ level? Is it 210 or 214?

In one of the episodes that I've watched before (Pardon me cause I couldn't remember which one was it! Oh dear! Such is my poor impulsive short term memory loss! "Sigh!" Can anyone help me to recall back what episode was it? Thanks!), I can still remember that particular scene moderately well (suppose or if I'm not mistaken of what I have hearken of) that I do hear quite carefully by one of the minor characters who was also one of Jimmy Neutron's "minor" nemesis or antagonist played by a woman wearing a black suit while she was conversing to another doctor-like character in which during their conversation when she said or remarked about Jimmy Neutron is a boy with an IQ level of two-hundred-and-ten (210)! Was I right or was I wrong? Because I'm still unsure about it ever since that episode of that Nickolodeon series I've watched it was aired nearly about a few years ago in my country! --onWheeZierPLot 19:04, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius 2: The Search for Carl was the very quickly cancelled sequel to The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. It apparently never got past the script stage, and you can find out a lot about it just by searching the web... New TV Movie

I have seen comercials for a new "Jimmy Neutron Event", and it is set to air May 19th, 2007. It is called Genius, Sheenius, or In Betweenius?. I'm not sure that I'm spelling that right, but they've been showing comercials frequently for it. I just saw one this morning.

A source that could be used: Jerry Beck's Not Just Cartoons: Nicktoons!

I found a book in the bookstore called Not Just Cartoons: Nicktoons! by Jerry Beck. I'm not going to buy it and join the project, but I will ask the other members to get the book so that they can add real world information about various fictional characters.

This makes the creation of separate articles for *many* fictional characters feasible. Having information about the development of the character will make the articles satisfy Wikipedia:Notability (fiction)

Plot section

Since the plot section is empty and has a link to the character page, I am going to make a seperate section for characters and create a plot summary. If you can, please help me make it up to standards, since I am new and have only done minor edits. Okay, the last sypnosis/summary was deleted over a year ago, and it did not give enough information about the series, so I'll try and make one that describes the characters, usual episode format, and premise/overall theme. New Lead section

I noticed the lead section for the show to be quite brief, so I expanded it. Anybody have any feedback they wish to share?

"The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius is an American computer animated television series created by John A. Davis. It originally aired on Nickelodeon for three seasons beginning July 20, 2002, and the final episode aired on November 25, 2006. A spin-off of the 2001 film Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, the show follows a genius 10-year-old from Retroville, James ‘Jimmy’ Isaac Neutron, as he goes on adventures with his friends Carl Wheezer and Sheen Estevez. Throughout the show, various mishaps and conflicts occur on these adventures, as Jimmy’s various inventions go awry.

Writer and creator John A. Davis penned the character, inspired by his love for science and technology.[1] Originally writing a short-film titled Runaway Rocket Boy, Davis gained attention for the idea of Jimmy Neutron after he submitted the CGI short film to SIGGRAPH, at the time Jimmy was known as Johnny Quasar.[2] The 40-second short received media recognition and was noticed by Steve Odekerk.[1] The Ace Ventura writer and director partnered with the founder of DNA productions to work on the show and bring it to the television screen. The feature film prequel and several shorts were used to draw audience attention to the show and character, as well as expand the network, prior to going on air with the pilot episode in 2002.

Other main characters of the show include Jimmy’s parents Hugh and Judy Neutron, his robotic dog Goddard, and his classmates Cindy Vortex and Libby Folfax. Voices for the main characters were provided by Debi Derryberry (Jimmy), Jeffrey Garcia (Sheen), Rob Paulsen (Carl), Mark DeCarlo (Hugh), Megan Cavanagh (Judy), Frank Welker (Goddard), Carolyn Lawrence (Cindy) and Crystal Scales (Libby).[3]

The series has been the recipient of various nominations such as Kid’s Choice “Favorite Cartoon” in 2006 and 2007, and has won an Annie award for “outstanding achievement in animated television production produced for children” as well as a Motion Picture Sound Editors “Golden Reel award”.[4] The show ended in 2006, but audiences have petitioned to have the show continued. A spin-off from the show was produced known as “Planet Sheen”."

Lead sections are meant to be a summary of the major information that is in the rest of the article, length dependent on what is in the rest of the article. It is a judgment call as to what is important enough to put in the lead. Other than cases where the lead is the entire article, almost everything in the lead should be expanded upon in the body and content referenced there. The above proposal should be pruned in the lead and expanded upon in the body of the article. IMDb cannot be used as a reference but other sources exist for most of the info. It is a good attempt to improve the article but more work needs to go in the body as well. Geraldo Perez (talk) 16:15, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
As per the link you provided, use of iMDB for cast and awards POST-production of a feature or show is under dispute. It has not been deemed appropriate or inappropriate. As for the material discussed, if the lead section is compared to other notable and featured articles such as those for Spongebob Squarepants or The Simpsons, the lead sections hold similar details and have been well received by the wikipedia community. If one looks at the information mentioned, it is quite brief. An individual with little time to research material or look up information should be able to observe the lead section and get all the information he needs for an elementary understanding of the material. The elements in the article can still be further expanded.

There is a lot of misinformation in the cast sections of IMDb after release, I've personally found and reported errors, IMDb does little checking. IMDb is usable as a convenience, but the ultimate source of credit info is the film or show itself, not IMDb. Awards info references should be sourced to the awards sites, again IMDb info is dubious reliability. The dispute about IMDb as a source is recurring and unless there develops a firm consensus that IMDb is ok it is not a reliable source for this type of info so don't use it. As before, the proposed lead is excessive and most of the detail belongs in the article body with a summary in the lead. Geraldo Perez (talk) 18:12, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
A typical lead should look like this: Young Sheldon is an American comedy television series created by Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro that premiered on CBS on September 25, 2017. The series stars Iain Armitage, Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Montana Jordan, Raegan Revord, and Annie Potts. The series is also narrated by Jim Parsons. For animation, you'd replace "stars" with "features the voices of." That's a brief summary that gets a lot of the information across per WP:TVLEAD without overdoing it.
