[edit]

If anyone has or can obtain the newspaper's logo, please feel free to add it. Thanks! Maltmomma (chat) 00:21, 30 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I added the logo and the newspaper infobox. --Myles Long/cDc 16:58, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

I agree that the article needs to be bulked up. However, if it is determined that The Daily Toreador is not notable, then all articles for all college student newspapers need to be deleted as well. It's not fair or equitable to say that such-and-such college's student newspaper is notable but the one for Texas Tech is not. --Wordbuilder 00:15, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I looked at a random sampling of 15 Wikipedia articles for other student newspapers and none of them contained a tag regarding notability. Some of the articles contained more information than the one for The Daily Toreador. Some contained less. Others, about the same. Currently there are 188 articles in the Category:Student newspapers published in the United States. Therefore, if no one presents a reasonable objection, I will remove the notability tag from the article associate with this discussion page. --Wordbuilder 15:31, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
