Wasn't there a TV movie called "Eunice" which featured these characters? I never saw the show, but I remember reading about it in the paper. It appeared after "The Carol Burnett Show" had left the air, and if I remember correctly, its success inspired the creation of "Mama's Family".76.6.218.158 (talk) 16:18, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Harpers were on Family Feud, also[edit]

The article mentions three game shows Mama and Eunice were on - Family Feud being one of them. But there's no reference to this in the "Appearances" section of the article. Can we work this reference in?

That's different from the instance of Burnett and Lawrence appearing in character on a separate show. The Family Feud appearance you're pointing out was an episode of Mama's Family, and it was fictional. Many TV shows have episodes where the characters are on game shows (or some other forum and host from real life, such as a talk show), but it takes place in the fictional world of that episode; TV show characters appearing in real life game shows have nothing to do with a specific episode, and they play for real life charities, as Burnett and Lawrence did in Password.
