Err, why are the pictures pictures of signs? If I was coming to Hull uni and wanted to pick a hall to live in, those pictures wouldn't tell me much. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.86.51.230 (talkcontribs) 16:54, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It is the best we have at the moment. A user who put up pictures has had them deleted hence all of the red-link images Keith D (talk) 19:42, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ferens and the Grange[edit]

diff]

I'm not convinced that

"The physical Cottingham Grange country house was demolished in the 1930s".Lost Heritage | complete list of demolished country houses in England

is accurate - the cottingham castle date appears to be out (1861 according to others).

It states cottingham grange was demolished in the 1930s but http://web.archive.org/web/20060515150515/http://www.school-portal.co.uk/GroupHomepage.asp?GroupId=17205 states after the war.Oranjblud (talk) 16:01, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Main Article Picture Description is Wrong[edit]

The main picture for the article has a title stating "Photograph of the Lawns from the grassy area, showing Morgan, Nicholson and Lambert Halls". This is factually incorrect. I attended the university and boarded in Nicholson hall, and the picture does not show Morgan Hall, the enire left side of the picture is only Nicholson Hall, the right 1/3rd of the picture (from behind the tree to the right) is Lambert Hall. The title of the picture should be changed, but I don't know how to do it.

This is a plan of the Lawns, showing the Halls on the right, starting with Lambert at the bottom, followed by Nicholson above it , then Morgan and the other halls.
