Facebook App[edit]

British chocolate maker Thorntons released its amazing Snowman Christmas Card Facebook application on 22nd November 2013. The app, developed by Engine Creative, allows users to send personalised, animated 3D Christmas messages to their friends and family. The animation takes the receiver of the card into the world of the Snowman, as the app integrates Google Maps, and follows the Snowman, Billy and the Snowdog as they take flight across the world to hand deliver a personal message to the recipients address.
