Can't parse (and can't fix) sentence[edit]

The sentence:

"Jim McPherson, who finds himself in the middle between terrorism against the weapons industry; drugs, parties and casual sex; as well as literary and academic interests."

doesn't parse very clearly. "in the middle between terrorism against" really doesn't make sense. -- Finlay McWalter | Talk 18:58, 25 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I think (I hope) it's fixed now. — Athaenara 07:40, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Still needs work I was going to attempt a re-write of it, but I'm not sure how to group the items in the list. Someone with knowledge of the story is needed. Senator2029 leave me a message 00:39, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I just re-read this a year ago, so I went ahead and changed it up slightly; in the novel, Jim is just being pulled in a lot of different directions as he struggles with adulthood, I don't think the "in the middle" was really necessary. AlbinoFlea (talk) 04:31, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Thcalifs.jpg[edit]

Image:Thcalifs.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Several minor spelling/grammar mistakes. Some major.[edit]

This article needs a major cleanup and some areas need a rewrite (as the sentence structure is broken to the extent that the content is unparseable). I'll submit what corrections I can. 174.78.9.244 (talk) 20:09, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
