Speculation[edit]

I don't think looking at the source code is any indication as proof of how many episodes there will finally be. All I saw was that 13 episodes where listed, but their titles were as well, so this could just be the first 13 in the series to be given titles and the rest could be added when they are given titles...or not. Either way, no reason to jump the gun yet, as it is still only a speculation.--Juhachi 22:45, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

TOKKI?[edit]

As I know nothing of Japanese, I really have no way of knowing if it's intentional and/or has another meaning. But while most of the page calls the team TOKKO, there are a few cases where it's called TOKKI and appears to refer to the same thing. Why are almost all of the nouns in the 'episodes' section hyper-linked? Does this article (or its readers) really benefit from having such common nouns as "hospital," "killer," and "neighbor" linked?

The name of the Devil[edit]

The article refers to the "Box of Dirge", but I think it should be the "Box of Druj" where Druj (meaning "lie") could be a reference to the Zoroastrian Devil, Angra Mainyu. JRSpriggs (talk) 20:18, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Some stuff about the themes[edit]

I'm a fan of the themes in this anime and did a little research to find out more. Starting with the songwriter for the themes: Shunsuke Minami is a well-known composer, responsible for composing and/or arranging a number of songs by big pop artists like Yuna Ito, BoA, Beni Arashiro, and Crystal Kay; see her works page on MySpace. This page also mentions something by dB called Birth which I believe is the name of an album by dB also listed on Amazon. I strongly suspect that this "dB" is actually the same "dB" discussed at [1], where they say:

U-ka saegusa IN db started in 2002 as solo effort by Saegusa Yuuka. At first, it was planned to be a 3-member unit, with Saegusa being the lead and 2 male members as the support, named "db" (decibel), but the idea ended up discarded.

Notice on the album cover how it's a woman (who looks suspiciously like U-ka Saegusa) and two guys. And Tokko originally ran in 2004. So the Tokko themes were mostly likely by this nascent abandoned project. This is all original research though and not terribly suited for the article unless it can be independently confirmed.
