UXV[edit]

There is no description of what the letters UXV stand for. Is it an abbreviation for something or what? UXV is not a word in the English language, so is it a name? Should it be HMS UXV?

Service[edit]

Is there any information regarding if the UVX will be in service in the US Navy or the Royal Navy? Tsurugi (talk) 02:53, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Since it is being designed and will likely be built by BAE Systems in cooperation with General Dynamics, I would expect both. I just rewrote this article, so if you have any further questions, you can let me know on my talk page. --Bismarck43 (talk) 15:41, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Some Inconsistencies[edit]

In my research I came across this article however I have noticed some inconsistencies with the source.

The problem is that the source indicates that it is a concept ship & that if approved it will not go into service until post 2020 yet the Wikipedia article by the mention of the keyword "planned" indicates that this is not a concept & that it has been approved by the DoD.

I would really love to see ships such as this in service but I think we should not as Wikipedia contributors modify the facts to suite our desires. Can the author of the document please change the first paragraph to indicate that this is a concept warship awaiting development approval. Thanks in advance. You mean MoD not DoD but other than that I agree with you, please be bold and edit it yourself. G.R. Allison (talk) 12:13, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ok sorry about the MoD oversight, my mixture that is my background nationalities both refer to their defense arm of the government ::department of defense & not as the MoD, hence my oversight :) I'll modify it, please inform me if you disagree with the edit.
