Modelling CAAF article on other federal courts of appeal articles[edit]
This article was generally a start article. I have added the former chief judges of the court. I formatted the article in greater detail. Generally, I'm modelling the CAAF article from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit. Also have added the current controversy on Supreme Court review of CAAF's decisions. The majority of CAAF decisions are insulated from Supreme Court review and there are two bills pending in Congress. On September 27, 2008 the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Equal Justice for Our Military Act, HR 3174. However, the Department of Defense is opposing the legislation. I have added information and refrences to be balanced on the controversy. Will be adding the former judges and the current senior judges as well as other clean-up. In the Current Composition of the Court, one column lists 'Duty Station' - to what does this refer? It is typically a military term indicative of where service members are billeted/serving, but the members of the court are civilians and the court sits only en banc, so it is not indicative of where a single justice exercises some capacity such as that of Supreme Court justices assigned responsibiity for specific Circuit Courts.
