long streak without losing[edit]

At the present, he has not lost a game in the last 82 games. He may beat the record of 95 set by Tal, see list of world records in chess#Consecutive games without a loss. Bubba73 (talk), 16:45, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment comment[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Wang Yue (chess player)/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

I click on the name of a Taiwanese actress in a t.v. series called meteor garden and I was transferred here. Can someone separate these two obviously different people but have the same name?

Unbeaten streak in 2008[edit]

As per my post on Banedon's talk page, I have been unable to provide a definitive list of all 82 classical, FIDE-rated games that GM Wang Yue either won or drew from Round 2 of the 2008 Reykjavík Open up thru the end of the 38th Chess Olympiad in Dresden. My count based on the official FIDE rating calculation details (April 2008 thru January 2009) for Wang is 74 (+26=48), but Chessgames.com includes the Russia–China Match (5 games by Wang) held in September 2008 in Ningbo, but excludes two FIDE-listed events in the 2nd quarter of 2008, totalling 13 games. Thus, even taking the union of the two sets, the streak is 79 games. Where are the remaining 3? CaradhrasAiguo (leave language) 06:54, 18 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
