Too many[edit]

Looking to the future, there are too many species (>500) to list on the Family page. Would there be any objection if I made a start on creating Genus pages, which would be more appropriate places to list species, & then remove the species list from this article? I agree there are two many wrasses to list all the species on one page, but I much prefer the vertical bulleted list, with indentation to show levels of classification as seen on Lethrinidae. How do you feel about changing the format of the list:

Shrek Fish[edit]

I expected to find something about the 'Shrek Fish' near Sado island —Preceding unsigned comment added by 186.80.11.194 (talk) 17:58, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Genera[edit]

Also how do you feel about removing the "typical wrasse" from the box on the right. I think it's unnecessary, and belies the diversity of wrasses as a group.

Tool usage[edit]

Just found this article: "Fish known as wrasses are found to use tools". It's repeated in several more articles, so I assume its reliable. It applies to just the orange dotted tusk fish, but it's a wrasse and we don't have an article on the specific type of wrasse. Should this information be added to the article? It seems pretty significant. — Frεcklεfσσt | Talk 13:44, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
