Incomplete list of principal conductors[edit]

  • For cases of attribution, the source of the Heinz Rogner tenure dates is this page: http://www.nmz.de/nmz2/kiz/Forum1/HTML/003290.html
  • The Yomiuri Nippon Symphony's page indicates the historical places of Frühbeck de Burgos as the 4th principal conductor, and the others (Albrecht etc.) accordingly. With Page as the first conductor and Wakasugi as the second, this leaves one name missing between Wakasugi and Frühbeck de Burgos. The Japanese wikipedia entry doesn't give me any information. If anyone can find the missing name, that would be much appreciated.
  • Likewise, I have not been able to trace the date of the conclusion of Hiroshi Wakasugi's tenure with the orchestra. Any help there would be most welcome.

  • As I am working in WIKI (Italian version) on the biography of the German dirigent Otto Matzerath, I have added also his name to the list as he was in 1963 Dirigent (from September). The contract was up to 1964 and an extention was already planned, unfortunatelly he died after few months (in the military hospital of Camp Zama, near Tokyo). You can find similar information in the German version for Otto Matzerath. An English version is planned, too. (LorenzoGermanico (talk) 11:19, 31 July 2015 (UTC))[reply]

I've now traced a concluding date for Wakasugi's tenure, from this Google Books link, of 1975. DJRafe (talk) 13:01, 10 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
