David Yeiser House[edit]
- ... that the David Yeiser House (pictured) is one of few surviving houses from an American Civil War battlefield?
- Reviewed: Sukorambi Botanical Garden
- Comment: Tons of houses survive on the battlefield (it's a normal residential neighborhood, built after the battle); I use from to convey its connection to the battle and the battlefield, as opposed to being built there later like its neighbors. I'm not excited about the particular wording, however, and I'd welcome suggestions for improvement.

Age, length, QPQ, and image all check out. No plagiarism from online sources is apparent. The hook meets all policy requirements (AGF on the offline source). I agree the wording could be better. What about
- ALT1: ... that the David Yeiser House (pictured) is one of the few houses that survived the Battle of Paducah in the American Civil War?
- This also has the advantage of specifying the battle. When I first read the hook I thought it meant that it was one of few surviving houses from any Civil War battlefield, which I don't think is what the source is saying. But I haven't seen the source, so feel free to enlighten me. Lagrange613 08:13, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
