Usage[edit]
This template is a simulation of the German Wiki template "Vorlage:Google Buch" and is designed to speed translation by enabling references and sources created using the German template to be displayed correctly in English Wikipedia without major amendment. This template also translates the commonly used phrase 'online lesen' to 'read online'.
This template is for copying from the German Wikipedia ONLY. If you want to create a new reference in English use {{Google books}}.
Currently this template only supports the BuchID, Linktext, and Seite parameters for this template.
examples:
Copying from the German page the following:
- {{Google Buch|BuchID=7ydCAAAAIAAJ|Linktext=History of the Western Insurrection|Seite=24}}
gives:
- History of the Western Insurrection, p. 24, at Google Books.
And copying from the German page the following:
- {{Google Buch|BuchID=7ydCAAAAIAAJ|Linktext=online lesen|Seite=24}}
gives:
- read online, p. 24, at Google Books.
