Reverse transcription[edit]

Is it worth mentioning reverse transcriptase? In sequencing mRNA, ncRNA this reverse transcription step is crucial, e.g. for Illumina machines. Kazkaskazkasako (talk) 10:43, 8 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Good points. I'm thinking of making a more extensive series of diagrams based on the same aesthetics for different pages. The current templates are specialised towards gene structure in naturally occurring organisms. However, I could make a version that covers the relevant key enzymes used in molecular biology and biotech (restriction enzymes, ligase, rev.transcriptase etc). Would be very nice of you. Thanks for the effort. Kazkaskazkasako (talk) 10:21, 9 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
