Template-protected edit request on 16 May 2021[edit]

Please update this template from the sandbox (diff), all it does is move {{Non-free media}} into the {{imbox}}, this is because the license metadata is not being properly emitted due to the fact that the imbox is set to type license, which sets class licensetpl to the imbox, but the metadata in {{Non-free media}} is placed outside the imbox so the metatags are not emitted. This should largely reduce the 26,000 files in Category:Files with no machine-readable license. Dylsss(talk contribs) 16:29, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

To editor Dylsss:  done, and thank you for the fix! P.I. Ellsworth  ed. put'r there 19:46, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry Paine Ellsworth, can you update from the sandbox again, I put {{Non-free media}} inside the equality expression. Thanks. Dylsss(talk contribs) 20:03, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Change the |text= to start as "This image is of a '''[[{{{poster_link|poster}}}]]''', and the copyright for it...". See sandbox diff and test case. This is useful as {{Non-free film poster}} is invoking this template, and linking to film poster would serve better in {{Non-free film poster}}, as it did earlierDaxServer (t · m · c) 16:25, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
