Thomas Pablo Croquet (born November 21, 1976), known as Thomas Mars, is a French musician and the lead singer of the French alternative rock band Phoenix.

History

Mars was born in Versailles, France in 1976. In the early 1990s, Mars and his schoolfriend Chris Mazzalai formed the band Phoenix. Mazzalai's older brother, Laurent Brancowitz, also joined the band. The band has released five albums and won a Grammy Award.[1]

Personal life

In 2011, Mars married Sofia Coppola at Palazzo Margherita (Bernalda). They have two daughters together, Romy and Cosima.[2]
