1. From Firozpur Cantonment to New Cooch Behar, the train is hauled by a Electric Loco Shed, Ghaziabad / Electric Loco Shed, Gomoh based WAP-7 electric locomotive.
2. As the rest of the route is not electrified, so the train is hauled by Diesel Loco Shed, Siliguri based EMD WDP-4/WDP-4B/WDP-4D from New Cooch Behar to Agartala.
