[edit] Cover

On the cover of the album, one can see all the musicians that contributed for releasing this work. Seated on the floor, Gilberto Gil holds the graduation picture of Capinan. On the left side, drinking something in a chamber pot, is Rogério Duprat. On the right side, Gal Costa, wearing a yellow dress, is beside Torquato Neto, with a cap. Caetano Veloso is on the left of them, a little behind, holding a picture of Nara Leão. Behind all of them, one can see Tom Zé, on the right, and Os Mutantes, on the left (more precisely, from the left to the right, Arnaldo Baptista, Rita Lee and Sérgio Dias).

[edit] Influence

It is considered to be the manifesto of the Tropicalismo movement. It is number 2 on Rolling Stone's list of 100 greatest Brazilian albums of all time. [2]
