Fandom History[edit]
Denjo here, and I've been a fan of Transformers for years. I started out with Beast Wars, and moved into Generation 1 and Robots in Disguise (cartoon) as a result. I've seen a couple episodes of Armada (cartoon), nothing of Energon (cartoon), but a lot of Cybertron (cartoon). Aside from the Vehicons, I found Beast Machines to be a drag. I've written a number of Beast Wars fanfictions, and am in the process of writing more. As some of you have no doubt noticed, I like to keep it clean, and hope that others will agree that making this site funnier than your average Wiki doesn't mean it has to be crude.

Beast Wars[edit]
- Maximals:
- Dinobot-he's gruff, mean, and has a chip on his shoulder the size of Unicron's head. He's also an honorable warrior who always chooses the right side in the end. Besides which, who wouldn't like a sword with spinning serrated blades?
- Silverbolt (BW)-corny and a bit of a wimp in the show, but romantic and loyal. Even the Transformers Universe could use some chivalry. Add that to a killer beast mode and heroic robot mode, and you've got a rocking dude.
- Depth Charge-a lot like Dinobot, but with sick modes that make him the only Transformer in Beast Wars who can fight anywhere, be it land, sea, or air.
- Rhinox-smart, funny, and with a set of sweet looking chain guns.
- Tigatron-proving that you can be a gentleman without acting like an imbecile.
- Airazor-the one girl in the Beast continuity who didn't turn out evil at some point. Being the midpoint between Strika's butt ugly and Blackarachnia (BW)'s less than ladylike appearances doesn't hurt either.
- Predacons:
- Megatron (BW)-so diabolical, yessssss.
- Rampage (BW)-he's psychotic, murderous, and with a twisted sense of humor. In essence, a perfect villain, with devastating firepower to match.
- Dinobot II-a bad guy who looks like a good guy who sacrificed himself in a noble cause. The ultimate desecration makes one sick Transmetal 2.
- Waspinator-you just can't help but feel sorry for him.
- Inferno (BW)-who doesn't love a little psychosis?
- Ravage (G1)-a patriot with a Russian accent: what a combo.
G1[edit]
- Autobots:
- Optimus Prime-do I even need to say anything?
- Silverbolt (G1)-I like him mainly because of his Beast Wars namesake, but he's still an awesome guy.
- Omega Supreme-world's biggest Autobot. Bigger isn't always better, but Omega does it well.
- Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime-not nearly as cool as Optimus, but a better substitute than most.
- Ultra Magnus-looks close to Optimus without totally ripping him off.
- Grimlock-something about an egotistical moron just strikes me as entertaining.
- Kup-reminds me of myself, as I am also always being reminded of past knowledge by present situations that I just have to bring up.
- Blurr (G1)-this guy is just plain funny.
- Decepticons:
- Megatron (G1)/Galvatron (G1)-the original bad guy and his crazy second identity.
- Cyclonus (G1)-reminds me a bit of Dinobot, but also an excellent villain.
- The Combaticons-one of the first batch of combiners I knew much about.
- The Predacons-the first evil animal Transformers, nice contrast to the Dinobots.
- Skywarp (G1)-he may be a repaint, but he's cooler than the original.
Beast Machines[edit]
- Vehicons
- Tankor (BM)-sad as it is to see a good guy go bad, he does a good job.
- Jetstorm (BM)-for once, Silverbolt looked cool in Beast Machines, even if he was evil.
- Obsidian (BM)-a helicopter and a brilliant strategist.
- Strika (BM)-a big mean female Transformers.
Robots In Disguise[edit]
- Autobots:
- Optimus Prime (RID)-who else could take a firetruck and make it into a devastating force of justice?
- Ultra Magnus (RID)-every team needs just a little attitude.
- Rail Racer (RID) and his components-one sick Autobot combiner.
- Predacons/Decepticons:
- Megatron (RID)/Galvatron-this guy has more alt-modes than Beast Wars Megatron had bodies.
- Scourge (RID)-an evil twin version of Optimus Prime: 'nough said.
Armada[edit]
- Decepticons:
- Megatron (Armada)-I'm sorry, but this guy was just too cool.
Cybertron[edit]
- Autobots:
- Optimus Prime (Armada)-this guy is just plain awesome.
- Vector Prime-an ancient paladin and one of the few old guys in the bunch.
- Jetfire (Armada)-an Aussie Autobot is hard to go wrong with.
- Snarl (Cybertron)-reminds me of a winged wolf I always liked.
- Metroplex (Cybertron)-a giant robot with a Scottish accent; what's to complain about.
- Decepticons:
- IMegatron/Galvatron-a character so very true to the original.
- Menasor (Cybertron)-giant robot, Irish accent, enormous drill.
- Starscream-for once he's not a high voiced little backstabber, but a genuine threat.
- Soundwave (Cybertron)-G1 Soundwave meets Jazz (G1) with a flying mode.
- Sideways-definitely more evil looking than Armada's motorcycle.
Transformers (2007) Series[edit]
- Autobots
- Optimus Prime (Movie)-hearing that voice again after so many years was awesome!
- Ironhide (Movie)-attitude with enormous guns...sweet.
- Bumblebee (Movie)-nice use of radio.
- Decepticons
- Megatron (Movie)-Even more terrifying than the old school Megatron.
- Blackout (Movie)-nastiest helicopter I've ever seen.
- Barricade (Movie)-a cop car with a bad attitude; so awesome.
- The Fallen (Movie)-looks like a sweet bad guy.
Expanded Universe[edit]
- Autobots
- Optimus Prime (Shattered Glass)-so evil it's scary.
- Rodimus (Shattered Glass)-Rodimus Prime gone evil is sick.
- Nova Prime-just goes to show you that not every Decepticon is bad and not every Autobot is good.
- Sentinel Prime (G1)-if he was Optimus Prime's hero, he was doing something right.
- Arcee (G1)-talk about one nasty spider.
- Sentinel Maximus-not as cool as Primal Prime, but a close third.
- King Atlas-just plain cool.
- Decepticons
- Unicron-included here because of his Cybertron form and because he's cooler outside movies and cartoons.
- The Fallen (G1)-talk about pure evil.
- Megazarak-all the coolness of Armada Megatron without the continuity issues.
- Nemesis Prime (Universe 2003)-another evil Prime, with a sweet look.
- Maximals
- Primal Prime-Optimal Optimus' shape meets Optimus Prime's color scheme: instant winner.
- Apelinq-again, the repaint is better than the original; plus, he's a geek who kicks butt.
- Windrazor-looks like Silverbolt, but a lot meaner.
- Ramulus-there's that attitude again.
- Big Convoy-Optimus Prime is gone, but there's another Prime on the block with a really big gun.
- Leo Prime-about time the Primes got a carnivore in their midst.
- CatSCAN-simple-minded perhaps, but undoubtedly funny.
- The Dinobots-a team of repaints with some sweet moves.
- Torca-I do believe we've found Omega Supreme's grandson.
- Cybershark-his Transmetal 2 form is off the hinges.
- Jawbreaker-he looks a bit like Silverbolt gone completely insane.
- Predacons
- Rotorbolt-a little ego makes life funny.
- Cryotek-an ideal villain, even if he is a repaint.
- Shokaract-combine the look of one mass murderer with the evil of another, and you've got one nasty Predacon.
- Magmatron-if ever there was an archnemesis worthy of Dinobot, it was this guy.
- Fractyl-an angry midget never goes amiss.
- Manta Ray-always liked the toy, but rather like Samus Aran, I didn't know for years that she was a girl. Of course, I didn't know she was a Predacon, either.
- Scarem-had the toy and loved it.
