Environmental risk assessment (ERA) can be defined as the practice of assessing the potential impact of an environmental hazard, and the probability of that hazard being realised, to determine an overall level of risk. Traditionally, we tink of environemntal risks as being hurricanes, As society and technology begins to grow and diversify, our environment is constantly posed with new challenges.
