Balendra Shah (born April 27, 1990; Nepali: बालेन शाह), more popularly known as Balen Shah, is a Nepali rapper, structural engineer, and independent mayoral candidate of Kathmandu Metropolitian City (KMC) for the ongoing 2022 Nepali local elections.^[1]

Career[edit]

Shah first rose to fame among Nephop fans in 2013 for his performance in Raw Barz, a Nepali rap-battling league.^[2]

Candidacy[edit]

Shah announced his mayoral candidacy in Kathmandu Metropolitian City (KMC) on December 17, 2021, through a social media post.^[3]
