TheMinecraftMuse is a moderately popular Minecraft-related YouTube channel created by Shawn ? (age/birthdate unknown, birthplace unknown), a Toastmasters member living in San Diego, California. As of January 2012, Shawn's YouTube channel has over 15 thousand subscribers and 94 videos. TheMinecraftMuse started posting YouTube videos showing his Minecraft ideas and tips in mid 2011. The channel and its creator are widely recognized as one of the most proeminent Minecraft Youtubers, alongside Kiershar, paulsoaresjr and SethBling.
Content[edit]
The channel usually only featured idea videos (some of which revolutionary to the community) from early June to September 2011, when a new gameplay (Let's Play) series, Quest for the Golden Apple, or QGA (which ran from late September to late November), started. After the start of QGA the channel became more renowned and known in the YouTube community, leading to the channel's subscriber count and views rising from a few hundreds to thousands. From that point on, TheMinecraftMuse alternates posting idea and series videos, eventually starting his series Muse Farms, which is currently running. The channel's owner is a also a guitar player and records the soundtrack of some of his videos. He also features humor proeminently in his videos.
