Just a quick note to say who I am...

I am a network administrator born in 1972, a resident of Canby, Oregon, married, and soon to be a father. I also hold an FAA private pilot's license (Airplane Single engine land), with an instrument rating (Hence the "Planes" in my chosen user name!). I am a model railroader, sound engineer, and an amateur radio operator away from work. I am a proud graduate of New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (Go Aggies!!!).

I was born in El Paso, Texas and spent all my life there until I turned 18, and landed a scholarship at New Mexico State University. I then spent the next 8 years in Las Cruces, New Mexico attending college and working for a few years after graduation. I moved back to El Paso for a year after that, and after losing my job in El Paso (working for a broadcast engineering firm), moved to the Portland, Oregon area, and lived for the next five years in Southeast Portland until I met my wife to be, and we moved to Canby shortly after getting married in 2004.
