Lucrezia Lerro is an Italian poet and author, born 1977 in the province of Salerno. In 2006, she was a finalist for the Strega Prize (Premio Strega) with the book Certi giorni sono felice (Pequod, 2005).[1] In the same year with the same book she won the first prize at the Kriterion Prize.[2] In 2007 she was a finalist for the Rapallo Prize with the book Il rimedio perfetto (Bompiani).[3]
She has worked for magazines such as TV Sorrisi e canzoni, Per me and Ragazza Moderna. Moreover she has been assistant to the Italian psychologist Maria Rita Parsi and has worked for the Centro sperimentale di cinematografia.

- To present this book for the final of the Strega Prize, Vivian Lamarque has defined Certi giorni sono felice as a wolf in the little red riding hood's belly.[citation needed] An alive wolf and among the most hungry and frightned that a reader could meet.
