Welcome[edit]

Hi and welcome to wikipedia. I hope you like it and decide to stay. Here are some handy links for newcomers.

Also you can sign your name on talk pages and vote pages with three tildes like this ~~~, and your name with a time stamp with four like this ~~~~. If you have any questions, ask me on my talk page. Howabout1 Talk to me! 17:28, July 16, 2005 (UTC)

Everywhere[edit]

Why do you have accounts in almost every Wiki with over a thousand articles? BTW, thanks for indicating how to do a timestamp signature. I'm hopelessly ignorant when it comes to the more subtle tricks of Wiki formatting, as well as most of the bleeding obvious stuff. Wareq 02:50, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Because I put interlang link to Japanese Wikipedia on these Wikis.-- 02:58, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You need to be a registered user for that? Wareq 03:55, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think so.-- 04:49, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Username[edit]

Please consider changing your username to conform with Wikipedia's username policy of avoiding non-Latin characters. Thank you, SCHZMO 22:51, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your information. I'm using this username in 101 language versions of Wikipedia, all versions of Wikinews, 2 language versions and the former interlang version of Wikisource, 2 of Wikibook, 5 of Wiktionary, quote, meta, commons, species, and so on. When I change my username on one of it, I'd like to change every one of them at once. Is it possible?-- 04:27, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You might want to read this article: link. If you think you like it, contact me. --Bigtop 06:47, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please reconsider this username change. Once Unified Login occurs, the policy on Roman-only characters on en.wp will be void. Bastiqe demandez 15:06, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Canvassing[edit]

Your contributions history shows that you have been aggressively cross-posting in order to influence Wikipedia:Templates for deletion/Log/2006 September 8. Although the Arbitration Committee has ruled that "[t]he occasional light use of cross-posting to talk pages is part of Wikipedia's common practice"1, such cross-posting should adhere to specific guidelines found in Wikipedia:Spam. In the past, aggressively worded cross-posting has contributed towards an Arbitration Committee ruling of disruptive behavior that resulted in blocking2. It is best not to game the system, and instead respect Wikipedia's principle of consensus-building, by ceasing to further crosspost, and instead allowing the process to reflect the opinions of editors that were already actively involved in the matter at hand. Thank you. --Cyde Weys 03:36, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, kindly disregard the above message. Thanks for the notification about the TfD; I had completely forgotten about it just a few days after it had been listed. In any case, I don't think the second nomination you posted will be necessary, as I've notified the original closing admin, RyanGerbil10, that he may have made a mistake. So it might be fixed up sooner than you'd have thought. Again, thanks, and consider staying around a bit to edit on en. Catch me on my talk page if you ever need anything. ~ PseudoSudo 03:58, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi tsu. Yes Cyde is correct in principle but unnecessarily snappy in this case ("aggressively cross-posting", LOL!). There is nothing aggressive in your behaviour, just a bit unwiki. No harm done. I hope Cyde starts to assume a little good faith some day and looks a bit behind the actions ;-). However, he is a good vandal fighter. Admins dealing with a lot of vandals tend to get a bit snappy over time ;-). --Ligulem 09:38, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your username has been blocked indefinitely because it may be rude or inflammatory, unnecessarily long/confusing, too similar to an existing user, contains the name of an organization, website or non-Latin characters, or is otherwise inappropriate (see our blocking and username policies for more information). You are encouraged to create a new account and contribute to Wikipedia under a more appropriate username, and in a constructive manner. Wikipedia:Username provides guidance on selecting an appropriate username. You may also edit Wikipedia without creating an account. You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia under an inappropriate username. If you would like to discuss the block, you may edit your talk page or email the administrator who blocked you.

Due to Wikipedia's mechanism for enforcing name changes, your IP address may be temporarily blocked. Unless you have also been engaging in vandalism or impersonation of another user, we will remove that block as soon as possible — if this doesn't happen within an hour or so, please email an administrator and explain the situation (see the list of administrators).

If you want to keep the contributions from your old account for your new username, please follow these directions: (1) Add {{unblock-un|new username}} to your user talk page. This is possible because even when you are blocked, you can still edit your own talk page. (2) Soon, an admin may come to unblock you. (3) You will have 24 hours after the unblock to file a request on Wikipedia:Changing username before you may be re-blocked. Note that this can only be done before you create the new one. For more information, please visit Wikipedia:Changing username. In many cases (especially if your account has few or no edits), it is a lot easier to create a new account.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

This user has requested to be unblocked so that he/she can file a request on Wikipedia:Changing username to change his/her name to ZZZ.. (talk • contribs).

Decline reason:

Please pick a name without the excess full stops (periods) as these are commonly held to be confusing. Thanks. --ЯEDVERS 18:56, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reasons:

Allowing user to change name to ZZZ. (talk · contribs). If I remember right, this gives you 24 hours or so to make a request at WP:CHU. Sorry for the trouble!

Request handled by: Luna Santin 06:35, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I'm still brocked.-- 08:38, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[1] says I was unbrocked, but I can't edit the CHU page because of block.-- 08:45, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey; if you're still blocked, can you post the IP address that's stated in the block message when you try to edit? ~ PseudoSudo 12:08, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The blocks are over and I've wrote to CHU. Thanks -- 01:33, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

See CHU again[edit]

Wikipedia:Changing_username#Qzzz → っ (review previous change), as it is simpler to just fix en guidelines than it would be to change your username across all wikis. (As would be required to maintain Single User Login compatibility)

Apologies for the mess, insofar I could do anything about it.

Have a nice day!

I'm obliged to you for your trouble.--っ (Tsutsu) 05:39, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. In view of the recent discussions on WT:USERNAME and the posterior amendment of policy, I've renamed you back to . Cheers, Redux 11:26, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! I could get back my name!--っ (Rest) 14:49, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
