August 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Donald Albury. I noticed that you recently removed content from Typographical error without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Per MOS:SEEALSO, there are no hard and fast rules on what can be in a See also section, and editors may disagree on what is appropriate. You are, however, encouraged to provide an edit summary for every edit as a courtesy to other editors. Also note that it is better to link terms as they occur in the text, rather than in a See also section. At Typewriter, I linked (in this edit) the terms "touch-typists" (piped to "touch typing"), "manuscript", and "word processor" the first time they appeared in the text of the article, and removed those terms from the See also section, where you had added them.
