Welcome[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address, 2601:249:8B80:4050:4AF1:7FFF:FEE5:C031, made test edits on the page Dave Arneson which have been reverted or removed. If you did this, please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. If 2601:249:8B80:4050:4AF1:7FFF:FEE5:C031 is a shared IP address and you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors and further irrelevant notices.

Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I recommend that you get a username. You do not have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! dmartin969 02:57, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, dmartin969. I was trying to edit the infobox to make it clearer that was not Arneson's wife who died in 2009, but rather Arneson himself. Can you please re-review my edit to make sure that I actually made an error? Thank you! 2601:249:8B80:4050:4AF1:7FFF:FEE5:C031 (talk) 02:59, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
User:2601:249:8B80:4050:4AF1:7FFF:FEE5:C031 Usually when a marriage ends due to the subject of the article's death, the end date isn't incuded at all, as it is clear that the marriage ended (for example: Fred Rogers), I did go ahead and remove the end date all together, and wrapped it in template:marriage.  Sorry, I could've been more clear why I was reverting. dmartin969 03:06, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for taking a look, it's much better that way. :) 2601:249:8B80:4050:4AF1:7FFF:FEE5:C031 (talk) 03:07, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

June 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Dibbydib. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Misty Knight, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. dibbydib boop or snoop 02:49, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
