Effectiveness[edit]

Is there a difference in effectiveness between 1% and 2 %?

Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 10:59, 5 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Doc. The majority of the clinical studies have been done on 2% solutions. However, 1% is still effective. Depending on the severity of your dandruff, you may need to consult your physician for a 2% ketoconazole shampoo. Although ketoconazole may leave a slight drying effect, many people can use it daily.
